This is amazing.

My computer is messed up so I can sign into my blogger thing. Pretty sweet, eh? So let's get down to business. I think I'll do like.. a multi band post since we haven't had one in a while. Woo0o0o!!! This is great! ok.

Oh Sleeper. If you've been hanging around Mariah lately then you've probably heard something about them. So um, this post-hardcore band (or "emotronic" as they say) is pretty sweet. Kinda like Beloved meets As Cities Burn. They've released an EP and are working on a full length which I'm pretty sure is going to be released on Sold State Records. Oh yeah, 3 of the guys are from the ex-band Terminal. Which is kinda cool. Soo.. yeah.

Means is this band. They just got signed onto Facedown Records recently and released a full length not too long ago. I personally am very proud of them. For being fairly new they're doing pretty good. They're basically just another generic post-hardcore band. But I like 'em. Vocals are perty shweet. Something I found on Facedown about them:

Facedown Head-Honcho Jason Dunn agrees: "The main thing that stuck out for me was the quality of the songwriting and the "real" sounding vocals that are sung with passion. Matt has an incredible voice with a lot of melody but also a power that most singers today don't have. The balance of Matt and Dylan's vocals complement each other greatly and the music behind it all is as tight as it could be."

So yeah, it's up to you check em out or no.

Ok. I'll stop the torture. byee..

the chariot hits slo

may 28th, to be precise. at the downtown brew...where else? check the 28th box on the may calendar (link provided above). they're playing with some most likely lamewad bands: misery signals, i am ghost, i hate sally*. aren't most opening acts? oh yeah, and it's all ages. unlike minus the bear on the fourth; i wonder if i could pass of as a sixteen year old, 'cause, i swear, i really (to the [infinity-th] power) wanna go.

*which, by the way, is the worst name i've heard in a looonnnggg time.

so yeah, i had a feeling amanda would want this up sooner or later, if at all. it's the chariot. probably the craziest/most chaotic band on solid state.

There's too much to say...

I'm making a multi-subject music post, because there is just wayyyyyyyyyy too much going on right now musically to do it all separately.

*"Weird Al" Yankovic is coming to San Louis Obispo on Tuesday October 9th!! Click here for more info.

*Warped Tour is coming up, and coming to Ventura. As seen in a post below, a few of our favorite bands will be there, and tickets are going REAL fast. Warped's Website.

*Thrice news: the dudes are almost done with their new album, under the working title The Elements. They're going on a small east coast tour with Norma Jean and the Receiving End of Sirens, for a few days, and then heading back to the studio. They expect to be done near the end of May, with a total of 24 songs; 23 of them new ones(1 of them being instrumental), and 1 cover(of what they haven't said yet). Thrice's Studio Journal.
