Look at the totally awesome banners at the bottom. I tried putting them somewhere else but it wasn't working. Yeah.

Discover America

"Discover America is the most recent secretion of musical chameleon Chris Staples. It's a wound that has been oozing for almost a decade now. First with sorely missed angular-rock band twothirtyeight, and later with a Neil Young-esque solo career. Now he's back with a batch of quirky, hip, retro, upbeat tunes - most notably 'Green Eyes.'"

Please check this guy out. Trust me - he's nothing like Death From Above 1979. He has more of an ambient edge.

Metal

Ok, I might as well post another genre here, so I thought of this...metal. Greusome, usually called, music that brings hard rock up a notch, with 1-string guitar chords making the sound(in my opinion)evil like. Anyway, tell me what you think about this one. In my opinion, some metal is pretty good.

Green Day

Well, since Matt got to put up his fav band, I thought it was only fair that we all got to! Here's mine(not like anyone cares). I hate the eye-liner, but the music is pretty good. It's kinda pop-punk, into post-grunge. Whatever you say, they're still one of the most popular and influencial bands of our age.

Death From Above 1979

Meet Sebastian Grainger and Jesse Keeler, two aspiring musicians who collaberated, thus forming Death From Above 1979, easily one of the most unique and creative projects to come around in recent memory. Distorted guitar effects, sometimes high-pitched "singing," and honest lyrics make these guys my current favorite band. Indie at its finest, no questions asked. "KERRANG."

Rock 'n' Roll

Well, since I asked your guys' opinions on rap music I think it's only fair to ask about other genres. So today I move on to rock. In my personal opion, rock is the way to go. You?

Rock on,

Tooth and Nail = PWN4GE.

"Such amazing artists and bands like Anberlin, Dead Poetic, DiscoverAmerica, Emery, joyelectric, Mae, mewithoutYou, Project 86, Showbread, and Starflyer59 - all call Tooth and Nail Records their musical home away from home. They have spearheaded the change of America's perception of alternative Christian music, thus paving the way for countless more independent bands to step into the spotlight and show the world what music really is."

And I couldn't agree more.
