Live For Today

Hey, sorry I don't have a picture, I couldn't find one. I would just like to introduce you to a band I'm positive you've never heard of. They're Live For Today, a hardcore "posicore" Christian band. They are rising very quickly, opening concerts for xLooking Forwardx, and a few other bands I forgot. Yes, xLooking Forwardx, Amanda, one of your favorite bands. Oh! And I forgot to mention, the only reason I know this band, is because the lead singer is one of my best friends. I'm not joking, he was a staff member at my church in Palmdale. I was talking to him over AIM just a little earlier, and he said his band opened for xLooking Forwardx, and I said "No way!! One of my friends(Amanda) loves that band!" So yeah, I was just so stoked, I wanted to post 'em.

Exodus in Peril

Ok, I got a chance to sneak in a post before tomorrow. I've been trying to post Exodus in Peril for like ever. Ok, I don't have much to say about them so Check them out and tell me what you think. They're good.

Ricky is way too sick to make a music post...

So I'm just gonna babble and babble and babble. Does anyone like Minor Threat? You know the hardcore punk band of the '80s? I like 'em. What about Dead Kennedys? Anybody? Anybody? Anybody at all? Does anybody like Suicidal Tendencies? Anyone?!?!?!! Please give me a yes!!!!! I'm gonna go now.

raisingHisempire

This is my extremely lame purevolume band. I'm hoping that it will be a real band soon, but we're basically just waiting for school to be over so we can have band practice. I just used a couple of my favorite songs to fill in until we can actually make and post music. Hopefully we'll be a band soon.Listen to raisingHisempire at PureVolume.com

Halo 3

Halo 3!!! I know, you don't care! But when the trailor for Halo 3 was released at E3, all Halo fans went nuts. Including me, I went nuts. Though, this game is a long way off, everybody can still tell this will be the greatest Halo game ever. This one will be realesed for Xbox 360 only, which is kinda dissapointing, and kinda the reason I'm saving up for and Xbox 360. These graphics look incredible, I mean, just look at the picture!! Anyway, the link leads to the trailor, I think, if you're interested. I can't wait for this one to come out next summer. Also, the Halo Movie will be released next summer as well.

You know what I'm thinkin'?

Since we have a 'Music Blog', a 'Movies Blog', and I had a 'Video Games Blog', I say we just fuse them all into this blog, so it will be instead of just 'Music,' it will be 'Music, Movies, Games, and TV Blog.' What do you think, Amanda? It's kind of a waste to have like, 4 different blogs about entertainment.

Goo Goo Dolls

I'm seriously also really into the Goo Goo Dolls lately. This band has really catchy and deep love songs(yes, yes, LOVE songs). I didn't think I'd like 'em when I heard of them first, but then I got to listen to them and ever since, I really love their music. Recommended listens: "Better Days," "Iris," and "Stay With You." I soooo totally want their new CD REALLY BAAADDDD!!!!!

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Well, Amanda was saying how lately she's been into House of Heroes, so that's why I posted this. Because lately I've been into the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I don't know why, it's just that "Dani California" is a really catchy song. I am really desperate to go out and buy their new album Stadium Arcadium. Recommended listens: "Dani California," "Snow(Hey Oh)," Californication," and "Stadium Arcadium."

House of Heroes

Ok, I don't have long. I've been really into House of Heroes lately. I'm seriously in love with them right now. They're almost kind of cliche but the occasional high-pitched vocals dress 'em up a little. Recomended listens: "Friday Night," "Serial Sleepers."

Enjoy!

Project 86

Well, I thought I'd do Matt a favor since he can't go online, and post one of his fave bands that I actually like. Next, I might do FIF. Yeah right! I'm just joking with you! But anyway, back to Project 86. I gotta say, I don't know much about the band, but I'll try my best. But what I really think drives the band is the momentum of lead singer Andrew Schwab. He makes awesome performances in all P86 songs. Definitely a head banger. I highly recommend this Christian metal band. Recommended listens: "My Will Be a Dead Man," and "Sincerely, Ichabod." P.S.: You could see P86 at Spirit West Coast. Enjoy.

The Misfits

Since Amanda brought up The Misfits, I thought I should post them. These guys are one of the original punk bands ever. Definitely an inspiration to hundreds upon hundreds of other bands, these guys are the ones that started it all. Recommended listens: "Astro Zombies," "Where Eagles Dare," and "Helena." Thank You, Misfits.
