What's YOUR fave genre?

Are you into mainstream pop-rock? Or are you into more of the somber side, such as emo or indie? Maybe it's electronica, metalcore, progressive, class rock, hip-hop...whatever.

Personally my current favorite genres include experimental post-rock, alternative Britrock, and some soft indie rock.

I listen to mostly hardcore, some emo is alright, and the kind of rock that doesn't really fall into any genre, such as Showbread, or UnerOath. Rock, all kids of rock.

Mae, Portugal. The Man, & The Evan Anthem are the only ones I'm familiar with.

Uhh... I believe it was Emery's website on the "Links" page. Plus, one time we went to Cheap Thrills and I saw a CD that was by Protugal. The Man. BTW, is Portugal. The Man really just a guy or a whole band?

Portugal. The Man (which now form my new understanding is a whole band, not a man, therefore the name is not appropiate) is playing in Ventura on March 8th and San Luis Obispo on the 25th of March. And in Corona, I went there. It was soooooo awesome. It gets me in a good mood just thinking about my birthday. Well, since I'm so totally bored I'll tell you guys all about my birthday. Well, ever since April 2005 I'd been planning on seeing this band (xLooking Forwardx) so I e-mailed 'em and they said they planned on coming to CA in the Fall. SO time went by, and more time went by and then it was finally Fall. So I was of course on the computer and I just so happened to check the shows page of xLFx and i saw they were gonna be here on my birthday (which was so conviently a Sat.) and I freaked out and I was sooo excited. So, I talked my mom into driving me 4 long hours to Corona and getting a hotel room and we finally got to go. We found the theatre and there was already a line and I was ecstatic. My mom tried to make us eat but I was too excited I ended up eating like 2 fench fries or something. And then my sister and I got in line and I was soo excited and then we got in and it was sooo cool, and it was a tiny theatre jam packed with kids between the ages of 14-21 and no matter where you walked you were brushing shoulders with someone and it was loud, and if it was only the singer screamer it made your head pound and I was in Heaven on earth. That was a long sentence. So yeah. Is anyone going to the show this weekend in Santa Maria. It's like Sanctus Real, The Afters, and Mainsay.

I mean March 24th not 8th. I don't know what possessed me to make such a fault.
