Alright, since we started a short lived discussion about Melina's new CD, I thought it was important to discuss this: the Parental Advisory. What do you think about it? Do you think it's important to you? Or is it something you just don't really care about because you think you're mature enough to listen to music carrying this label? I know that I listen to music with PAs and I hear a lot of ungodly things. So, my question is, do you, as a Christian, think it's okay to listen to even some music that has this? Or do you think as Christians we should all stay away? What about edited music, or music that had a Parental Advisory but they took away all the bad things about it? What do you think about that?

personally, i just wouldnt want to listen to it, plus i wouldnt be allowed to buy it in the first place. but i think its between you, your parents and God.
I agree with Shannon. Stuff that's edited I think is okay. Stuff with the Prental Advisory I, myself would stay away from it. THINKING you're mature enough and actually being mature enough are really different. I think if you can not let the bad content knock you over, have an impression on you, or set a stumbling block then it probably won't be a big deal, I still don't think it's all you should be listening to though. Also, if it's really really filled with junk you shouldn't be hearing, then it's probably not the best idea. But.... like Shannon said, it's between you, your parents and God.

Okay, wait. Melina, you make it sound as if cuss words are okay. They're not okay. No matter how many times you hear it from music, tv, friends, parents-no matter. Cuss words are ungodly and God does not ever want you using them.
