The Shins: one of the coolest soft indie bands I've listened to lately. Their newest album Wincing the Night Away, is one of my favorite records lately. Check out "Sleeping Lessons," and "Phantom Limb," to see what I mean. Or, just borrow the album from Matt Nichols. The Shins.
Alright, so unless you've been living in a cave for the past year, chances are you've at least HEARD of Snow Patrol. Their single "Chasing Cars" easily made it's way onto the billboard charts. That isn't to say that Snow Patrol is a fake, MTV ready, punk band like you'd expect. They're actually soft, heartfelt indie rock, and a nice break from everything else. Recommended: "Hands Open," "You're All I Have," and "Chasing Cars." Snow Patrol.

that's cool. i personally like you're all i have the most. and signal fire(which is from spiderman 3, btw). as for the shins: phantom limb is in my personal their best song i've heard.
