Goldfinger, definitely my favorite ska band(followed by Less Than Jake). For ten years Goldfingers been playing 2,ooo plus shows, trying their best just to be entertaining. And they've done it. As far as punk-ska bands go, Goldfinger writes and performs punchy, three minute slices of adrenaline as well as anyone. Of course the genre is haunted by the spector of the late, great Clash, who did it better than anyone(in their time). Some of their best songs include "Superman", "Spokesman", "Stalker", "Counting the Days", "Open Your Eyes", "Vintage Queen", and of course my favorite, "99 Red Balloons." These guys are worth checking out.

They have a funny name.
So, I'm listening to the song "Wasted," and the lyrics are quite depressing, and the even more depressingt hing is they really reflect the lives of the people today.
