Okay, well, I started posting other CDs I like, so I decided, what the heck, why not do this one? American Idiot, Green Day's most accomplished work yet, is what is called a "punk rock opera." Fo those of you who don't know what that is, it means all 13 tracks of this CD blend together to make a story. Now, this CD is very complicated because of all that goes on, so I'll make it short and quick. One teen in the suburbs of America decides suburbs are boring so he decides to run away, but he gets hooked on drugs and falls in love with a rebellious girl(note the song "She's a Rebel"), but decides life sucks in the city too, so he goes home. Sheesh! I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's really long and kinda complicated. Whatever.Recommended listens: "Jesus of Suburbia," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "Give Me Novacaine," "Letterbomb," and "Homecoming." Enjoy.
