Dashboard Confessional is the only acoustic-emo band I've ever heard of. Don't let that scare you away, these guys(or maybe just guy) are really very talented, catchy, and completely innocent(which makes it an easy seller to parents). I highly recommend this band to anyone. Recommended listens: "Don't Wait," and "Vindicated."
