Tony Hawk's American Wasteland Soundtrack
Though this isn't one artist in general, it's a soundtrack with many artists that I like on it. It's a soundtrack for a video game of the same name. What's incredible about this album is that the artists(ranging from Senses Fail, to My Chemical Romance, to Thrice), had to choose a classic punk/hardcore song and cover it only for this game. What's even more incredible is that the covers are extremely accurate to the originals, whether it's My Chem Romance's bouncy, fun, cover of the Misfit's "Astro Zombies," or Thursday's heartbroken cover of the Buzzcock's "Ever Fallen in Love." I highly recommend this album to any punk/hardcore fan. It's definitlely worth checking out. Recommended listens: "Astro Zombies," "Seeing Red/Screaming at a Wall," and "Ever Fallen in Love." Enjoy.
