Definitely an inspiration to hundreds upon hundreds of other bands, these guys are the ones that started it all. Recommended listens: "Astro Zombies," "Where Eagles Dare," and "Helena." The Misfits
Since Amanda brought up The Misfits, I thought I should post them. These guys are one of the original punk bands ever. Oh well, thank you, I guess. But you have to realize that if it weren't for the Misfits, alot of bands you and I listen to would have never have existed. You know that right?
Yeah... I guess. But The Misfits also seem like one of the reasons that punk is a trend now. Like, I thought punk was about being different and um.... rebelious, but of everyone is different and rebelious then its not different and rebelious. Ya know what I'm sayin?
The Misfits were rebellious in their time, and since it started such a trend that rebellious isn't so rebellious anymore. I guess you could say punk is dying.
Showbread is right. And it's kinda stupid also how punk bands are changing their original formula sound, just to get on MTV, therefore changing punk bands altogether.
Yes sir. This is kind of random, but mewithoutYou, Thursday and Minus the Bear are touring together. Too bad they're not coming to CA. *Sigh*
Is thursday a Christian band? If so, I didn't even know that!!! But anyway, that's pretty cool. You know what sucks!!!! Mark Mclain challenged me to not listen to music for a week!!! Nothing!! No iPod, no stereo, no radio, nothing!!! I'm gonna die.
Well it's not as bad as last week. Kayleen challenged me to not listen to music, not watch TV and not.... GO ON THE COMPUTER!!! I'm a whimp though I only lasted for 4 days. :D
I'm already dying...I would blow my brains out if I couldn't listen to music, watch tv and go on the computer all week. Should I wimp out?

Hey Amanda, just a question. How did you get those banners at the bottom of the page? I mean like, 'cause I want to do one for my purevolume band, so how did you do it?
You gotta get the HTML code and copy and paste it into the HTML of wherever you wanna put it.
How do you get the HTML code?
It usually should be with the banner you're trying to get. What kind of banner do you want?
I don't know, maybe like a Warped Tour Banner, or Spirit West Coast banner, or both.
Well, first you have to find one. Usually bands have 'em in the "Promo" or "Media" section. I don't know about events though. You could check at their website though. See ya tomorrow.
